Metal Hydride Hydrogen Storage Device


Introduction

The principle of this device is utilizing the selective absorbing ability of hydrogen storage alloys inside to absorb and release hydrogen under certain room temperature and pressure. It has realized solid hydrogen storage, safe without any leakage or energy lost. Getting through the appraisal of research achievement from CNMIA, the whole technique reached international level and some are the leading part.

Advantages

It has realized safe hydrogen absorption and release without any leakage or energy lost,. High hydrogen storage density can reach that of liquid hydrogen storage.

Low operation pressure, safe with long life. The storage volume could keep above 90% of its initial volume after 3000 times cycles.

It has the function of hydrogen purification to purify the hydrogen to be 99.9999%.

It is easy to operate. Hydrogen can be stored and released with smooth and steady airflow, which is suitable for the gas source of portable hydrogen equipment.

The internal part adopts a unique heat and mass transfer structure and alloy filled patent technology, which makes the excellent performance of hydrogen charge and discharge.

It could control hydrogen pressure and flow rate by adjusting the temperature.

Specification

According to the capacity and use, the product is divided into two kinds: hydrogen storage device for instruments and rapid hydrogen storage and supply devices.This device has the advantages of large hydrogen storage density, high purity of hydrogen, airtight and safety, small size and convenient carrying, especially suitable for the supporting hydrogen source of portable instruments such as fuel cell and gas chromatograph. According to different use requirements, we developed two materials tank, stainless steel and aluminum alloy, and can be matched with two valves, needle valve and quick connector.

Hydrogen Storage Device for Instruments—Needle Valve

According to customers' different requirements for the working pressure, this storage unit with needle valve can be divided into three typeshigh pressureG-type),middle pressure Z-type),and low pressureD-type. G-type: working pressure range 0.1-3MPa, the hydrogen charge pressure not exceeding 3 MPa; Z-type: working pressure range 0.1-1.5MPa, the hydrogen charge pressure not exceeding 1.5MPa; D-type: working pressure range 0.1-0.7MPa, the hydrogen charge pressure not exceeding 0.7MPa, of which hydrogen could be charged with hydrogen generator. According to customer requirements, the hydrogen release exit can be configured with a card sleevePhoto 4, threaded and quick connector interfacePhoto 5.


Hydrogen Storage Device for Instruments—Quick Connector

The switch of this device could be controlled by the On -Off of quick connector, see Photo 6. According to the customers' different requirements for the working pressure, this storage unit could be divided into two types: middle pressureZ-type),and low pressureD-type. Z-type: working pressure range 0.1-1.5MPa, the hydrogen charge pressure not exceeding 1.5MPa; D-type: working pressure range 0.1-0.7MPa, the hydrogen charge pressure not exceeding 0.7MPa, of which hydrogen could be charged with the hydrogen generator.
